a shrill combination of vowels escaped her lips mere seconds before
emerald energy left her eyes && travelled toward the cause of her near heart attack.
she’d executed a swift one-eighty as the instinctive blast projected itself––where her
legs had been dangling roof side moments ago , they now hovered inches above
said roof in the opposite direction. viridescent light illuminated familiar features ––– a
familiar mask –– as the bolt harmlessly ( it missed ! ) slipped pass &&into the night.
the sole causality of the night, thus far, thankfully being only the mustard she’d been
sipping on ; her beverage of choice falling over the ledge of the building in her haste.
❛ red x ! what in x’hal’s name … what are y––– ❜ she’d been taken off guard and a few
seconds to do the calming down were of the utmost necessity , her initial shock givi-
way to another form of surprise, then a string of wariness and vexation. ❛ red x , it is
most unwise to do the sneaking up on one with potentially dangerous abilities when
they are in the … ZONE, as they say. most unwise ! ❜
admittedly, he hadn’t anticipated such an energetic reaction on the titan’s part -- he’d been reaching for mild shock at most, a minor response to amuse him. he reeled slightly, palms raised instinctively; instinct carried him smoothly out of the path of the neon starbolt which glanced off of the patch roof where he’d been standing. note to self: take greater care next time he chose to startle an alien warrioress.
"Jesus, relax. Just li’l ol’ me.” his hands lowered as she visibly cooled, resting on his hips instead, elbows akimbo. “Heh. Since when have I been known to be wise, princess?”
