isabel was one who’d never forgive or forget a person who abandoned her, who left her life without saying a word about it. but she could never do that when it came to her family. she owed them her life. when her brother disappeared, she knew better than to search for him. whether he would ever come back or not, that was his decision to make, not hers. it was a cold winter night and isabel was out in london, watching mundanes as they celebrated the winter holidays. she was reminded of the time she was nothing but a teenager who was lucky enough to witness the rise of the holy roman empire, a girl who had no idea about what’s yet to come. she was so full of life, always smiling, a hopeless romantic who wanted to age gracefully with her soulmate. little did she know that she will live long enough to watch all the people she loved grow old and die. she felt nostalgic while watching couples doing winter things together, ice-skating, buying christmas trees, playing in the snow. however, she had a strange feeling all of a sudden, as if somebody was right behind her. she turned around to check but there was nobody near her. she though it would be better to go back to her mansion, the fledglings couldn’t be left alone for too long and she didn’t want charlie or rose to feel like babysitters. just as she turned around once again, her eyes met another pair that she hasn’t seen in so long. her lips formed a smile as she greeted him. “welcome back to london, brother.” — ( @oftransformatiion )
