She wonders if all babies smell this good, or if she only picks up  on it because  of her vampire senses. Carmilla hasn’t been around enough  babies to know. But  she practically  buries  her  face against  his, breathing  in  his sweet  scent, her  own eyes drifting closed  as cool lips  drop a kiss against his head, fine, feathery hair brushing her cheek.
