@ofwrittenschemes‘ Norman gets a semi-plotted thing !
She had campaigned, pleaded and begged her family to vacation somewhere exciting—Los Angeles, anyone? Hawaii, maybe? But no, nooo, Lydia was ‘out-voted’ and they had to pick a boring place. As if things could get more tragic their car broke down while driving through White Pine Bay, a little town even more boring than their already super-boring final destination. Kill me now, am I right?
The little motel (Bates Motel, was it?) with the kinda creepy, kinda cool house on the hill was the only place available to stay, which, if Lydia was being fair, wasn’t all that bad. One room for her parents and one for the three Bennet sisters. But her parents were tired from the car ride and they turned in very early, Jane was on the phone non-stop with Bing and Lizzie was working on her masters’ thesis-project-school-whatever. Boring!! So the youngest Bennet took to outside with her camera, vlogging and telling her adoring fans allllll about her oh-so-tragic troubles—that is, until a boy who worked there and looked around her age came down to check on the guests. Lydia had only met his mother -- the blonde woman was the one who handed them their room keys and wrote their information down. The son, who introduced himself as motel manager, was now the unfortunate victim of Lydia’s boredom and need to unload: the whole story she had just told the camera? She’s repeating everything to him in a very fast and animated manner.
“… can you believe that? And seriously, who even goes to bed at nine pm on vacation? Ugh. And my sisters, wow, I thought it was supposed to be a family vacay but are they spending any time with me? Whatever, like I need them.”
