“Yo. This is why I can’t take you places man...” Leon sighed, dragging Fuyuhiko out of the store, giving an apologetic glance back behind his own shoulder. He had caused a lot of damage in the store, and they were lucky enough to get off how they did. A sigh escaped from the baseball player’s mouth.

“Dude. Look at me.” Leon finally let go of the other boy, his arms folded across his chest attempting to intimidate him. He knew the action was at least semi-futile, for Leon wasn’t exactly the kinda guy to be intimidating to people he at least semi-gelled with. 

“Y’know that could’ve ended badly right? Gotta calm down next time, alright? Let me do the talkin’ from now on. And if the guys give us shitty deals or are bein’ assholes, you can take it out on ‘em. How’s that? I’ll let you use my bat if ya want. Deal?”

The couple of inches she has on him probably helps a little bit with the intimidation factor as Chiaki stares Fuyuhiko down. Normally somebody soft and sweet, her expression is now deadly serious, eyes narrowed as she glares daggers at him. What could possibly have sparked such a change in behavior from the mild-mannered gamer?

“...I want my Gamegirl back, Kuzuryuu-kun.”

The look she gives him suggests she will do anything to get her beloved console back. She doesn’t budge from her spot, and her cold stare does not move from his face. Chiaki won’t back down. Not when the stakes are so high.

“Hhmnn...?” Chiaki raises her head just enough to look at Fuyuhiko again. “Why not...? It’s not like I’m in any danger of actually dying... maybe.” Maybe she takes the idea of her own death lightly because of all the games she plays...?
