kid/kiddo is such a frank nickname i'm sick. just sharing my stupid hc that if his girl is younger, it kicked up his avoidant tendencies even more? he didn't want a young sweet girl to be in his life, wasn't right, not at all. on top of the guilt of his family and past and other traumas. but he couldn't help the way she crawled into his heart. he would call her kid when they were friends but it stuck all the way into their relationship. aaa idk i'm a sucker for this old man<3
