Something about the Lupari is niggling at me
How come they're species-bonded to humans? (Apart from the haha dog human's best friend) When Karvanista was once (or once will be??? - let's stick to once was for now) an operative of a highly elite Time Lord task force? Implies that either - Karvanista is an incredible individual OR that the Lupari were a Time Lord vassal species.
Why - humans?
A species the Doctor specifically holds a special affection towards for a considerable amount of regenerations.
