When the door opens, Ace leans from the couch to turn and see that its Sabo ---- but then again, who else would it be? He feels a warmth in his core and he might very well immolate on the spot. Its been longer than usual, these days, separated from each other for one reason or another because of prior obligations.

They’ve always been close, but even more so after the Convergence, like they can’t get enough of one another; Ace’s family calls them weird for it.

He’s up on his feet, striding over to greet him at the door. 

There’s a brief kiss on his cheek, and Ace’s hand comes to his chest and his head on his shoulder, “Missed you, Sabo.”
