Nothing was out of the ordinary. Just a regular summer day. Mimi and Taichi were in the elevator of his apartment complex.

Then the power went out. The room darkening startled Mimi and she looked around, confused. The elevator stopped moving.

Ciel woke up in a place he wasn't sure of. He had not seen this place before. He was rather nervous. He felt a soft weight on his chest and he looked into the eyes of a rather strange bunny like creature resting on his chest. "Who are you?" He asked with a soft breath. The bunny looked amused his eyes blinking for a moment. Ciel half expected that the rabbit to remain silent. "I'm Terriermon. You have strange eyes." He indicated. "I'm your partner while your here in digital world." He said with smile as he handed Ciel his digivice. The young boy took the device and the small rabbit like creature rested on top of Ciel's head. For some reason Ciel didn't mind. "It's nice to meet you I suppose." He said with a soft smile at the monster He did want to know more but he supposed he couldn't stay here.

That was when he heard the sound of voices nearby. He heard the sound of what had to be other creatures like Terriermon. "Hello?" Ciel called out. The small digimon made him feel safe. However he kept his hand over his eye. The one which displayed the contract symbol with Sebastian. Eventually Terriermon realised what Ciel was doing and let his big ear drape over his face to keep his eye shielded. Ciel was rather thankful as he walked closer towards the voice he had heard earlier on.
