With people leaving the Fandom I'm kinda concerned that I got into Murder Drones too late to do what I wanted with the OITTB Universe... is there gonna be anybody left to write for when I finally begin to post Tera's story?

I dread the death of this Fandom, because the exact same thing happened to me before, and I don't want to be halfway through working on something and post it only for people to lose interest...

Somehow fanfics have consistently managed to captivate me and make me theorize and wonder about stuff more than the source material ever could. Recently that has been Oil Is Thicker Than Blood by @dronebiscuitbat.

This parasite of a "theory" has been stuck in the forefront of my mind, SINCE CHAPTER 50! And it remains stuck because theories, especially ones you think are likely to be true, never get answered until months later at best.

i'm unsure what sneak peek i can give bcos my writing is pretty scattered, like...i don't really have much written for the next chapter but i have full-on scenes written for later specific chaps, as well as the last chap and the epilogue 🙃

but here are some upcoming dialogue bits:

“His name is Nero, and if you are gentle with him, he will let you pat him.” “See, I told you Serket isn’t scary. She’s fun!”

“If I teach you, will you leave me alone?” "Yes!" "Fine." "Yay!"

they may or may not change, depending on how my editing goes and if my chap grows so long, stuff will be pushed to the next 😅

erm...i will say both yes and no 🌚 mainly bcos everyone (and i mean characters and readers) has a different interpretation of what "love" is and means. so...read it how you will 👀

sorry if the answer sounds cryptic, i just don't want to go too much into it now bcos i have plans to talk about this more in later chaps in a hopefully more coherent way 🫠
