The fire crackled, almost in acknowledgment of his remarque. Mistral peered at his wistful face, the way his gaze went lost in the flames as if he could catch sight of someplace far far away. Blackthorn popped her muzzle upon his leg to make him aware of her affection. If only words could be as comforting as that. "So you are going to... what? feel forever responsible for him to leave?" she didn't mean for the tone of her voice to sound that bitter, but Solas' departure had left its mark on her too. She didn't want Pelle to blame himself for it. "He made his decision. Nothing you could do about it." So much for being of comfort. This whole situation felt wrong, Pelle didn't deserve that. It felt so very unjust. Even more so now that she planned to leave the Inquisition. And she had to find the moment to tell his friend. Although the oncoming Exalted Council was going to be no small fit for the inquisitor, Mistral could not picture herself being of any use to him in such a situation. There was no reason for her to keep on procrastinating.
