Uh, just a small question about Rex; if he never got perished from existence or something, how do you think he'll interact with the others? And by others I mean Benny, Batman, MetalBeard, Unikitty, and MAYHEM SPECIALLY since she unintentionally was responsible for Rex's existence...
Hmm, ill go through these one by one, but i do believe if he lived he’d refuse interaction with anyone besides emmet due to yknow trauma
benny,,, Rex probably isnt forgiving, and cannot handle being around him TOO much. He most likely no longer has the patience, energy, empathy, or just kindness to deal with Bennys hyperactive behavior and rants anymore, and would quickly get mentally drained from being around him. As, we can assume rex has a horrible social battery nowadays. He would likely also get an ego boost if benny let him ramble about the rexcelsior.. though hed also most probably freak out if benny touched anything on it
batman,, they both have massive egos and would probably feel threatened by eachother like two dogs trying to assert whos dominant lol. Theyd probably Both have some sort of twisted respect for eachother, but hate eachother aswell. Batman would probably feel respect emmet could change so derastically into someone stronger, but would be disappointed he used it for evil. Rex probably sees batman as a egotistical jackass (cough hypocrite) and they probably wont be able to handle eachothers egos and get annoyed by eachother. Though theyd probably mock emmet together and find it funny💔
metalbeard… i feel emmet wasnt that close to him? He seemed intimated?byhim? So, Rex probably doesnt feel that connected to him, but is still obviously pissed off he forgot about him. Hed probably just ignore all metalbeards attempts at interactipn to the point hed grab rex and force him to have eyecontact. Rex is mooost likely still a bit intimated by him, but his ego tells him he can beat anyone in a fight so its not that anxiety inducing for him to be cruel to him.
Unikitty.. hes the most sad about for forgetting. Emmet OBVIOUSLY sees her as his daughter of sorts. Rex probably was the most heartbroken about her as he sees her as his “child”. He again like with benny, has the social battery of a packing peanut and wouldnt be able to handle her excitement and joy. I think hed actually pity her in a way, as he sees optimisim and joy as a weakness that could get you hurt. As much as he is angry at her , hes also in the mindset that she is vulnerable and feels scared for her to end up like him. Unikitty i feel wouldnt believe its HIM, from how drastic the change is but- as a cat she prollycan tell its fhe same sent, shed maybe be gentle and quieter at first, and be scared of him but trying to be comforting. rex would reject her advances to be kind, and turn a cold shoulder. He feels bad but, does not want to influence. He also maybe feels she never truely loved him as a father figure and feels betrayed that she, out of everyone, also forgot :(
Mayhem mayhmmmmayhem… theyd fight. Rex wouldnt be able to handle being around the person who esscentally ruined his life . Shed seem him a as cranky old fart who needs happiness and try and make him go tomusic therapy which would trigger him to attack her. They would not get along. Besides the obvious hate he has, he also would maybe see her as annoying and nuciense, and since she likes wyldstyle his anger for her would also redirect to mayhem .
If anything they clash so bad theyd just fight and throw insult at eachother before having to be forcefully seperated by others💔💔💔 i cannot see them in any way getting along
