I'm listening to a book with a Finnish father having main character who lived in Savonlinna early in life. She just talked about having riding lessons at like 5 which seems accurate but not particular. Also there's mythology and now she's being taken to a castle and she's just arrived there and she goes on and on about the castle.

All I can think about is 'is it bigger than Olavinlinna?' She has made no mention of its existence. How does it compare? The one described even sounds more similar to Olavinlinna than a Disney type. How is she this taken aback by this castle when she grew up in a city with a mediaval castle? She acts like the mere existence of a castle is a novelty BUT SHE SUPPOSEDLY LIVED IN A CITY BUILT AROUND ONE!

Also this book is weird about Saami people which I was warned about.
