After i thought i was done, i'm dragged back into our life: beginnings and always. I'm a newcomer to the series and just learned of it earlier this year, but I've played it so many times. It's become a comfort to me. I have a lot of brainworms for those who'd like to listen so uh here goes...

Might not be an original idea but im thinking of my mc Micaiah who was indifferent to Cove from step 1 - 3, dated Baxter, then got together with Cove in step 4 and married him. But she realized sometime after the wedding and during the rekindling of their friendship with Baxter, that she has feelings for him, as well.

She's scared to tell either of them and elects to suffer in silence. However, she can't hide from Cove and he's the first to ask her what she's been dreading to confess.

I do know that I'd want them all to be together eventually, but I know that would take quite some time. Cove I'm torn about because I know MC's happiness means a lot to him, but I think he'd struggle with the idea of MC being with the person that broke their heart once in the past. There's also the thought of them being with someone else so uh...yeah. But I don't think it's impossible...just would be a lot of reassurance and communication involved.

Then there's taking into the account of Baxter's own reservations.

He doesn't see himself being "the one" for somebody in the wedding dlc so thinking about how he might take it if the friends he helped plan a wedding for came to him like "hey wanna be our third" would be very interesting to explore lol

But yeah that's what's in my head. Any thoughts are welcome! Do you guys have any MCs that are in a similar debacle? Feel free to let me know. I'd love to chat!

Cove Holden x [Rowanna] Miyano De Vera

LIFE IN SUNSET BIRD sounds like paradise just by the view and the stories of locals alone, tourists come and go, some stay and make their mark while others leave to pursue something far greater than just a tourist town. For an 8-year-old like Rowanna, she can’t imagine a life outside of this place.

Walking down the familiar road to head home, the little girl spots a blond man sitting on the curb infront of her house with his head in his hands. He looked devastated, Rowanna wonders if he's a new neighbor or a tourist since she hasn't seen him before. Having grown up in a place like this, you'd know everyone around you so he must be someone new. But someone new who ventured into the residential area of this town is rare, she remembers her Moms talking about "stranger danger" and that you never know if that person can be trusted. Taking too long in her own head, the stranger lifts his head and makes eye contact with Rowanna who flinches. "Hey!" The man got up and approached her, she takes a small step back to keep distance. "Do you live around here? What's your name?" Whoever he is, he really likes the ocean based on his tattoo and his shorts, though almost every tourist goes here for that same reason. "Yeah." Rowanna softly spoke, not wanting to give her name just yet. A smile appears on the man's lips as he shows her a 20 dollar bill, "Well...could you do me a favor?" She feels her stomach churn just by the sight of the money alone. Is this the thing grownups do in movies? Before that thought escalates further, he looked sheepish as he tries to explain the situation to her. "Nothing bad! Sorry, I should have...let me start over." He clears his throat and stood taller, Rowanna takes another step back and looking for an exit, "I have a son, his name is Cove who's about your age." A boy named Cove? That's a pretty sick name. I wish I could get a pretty name too. "We moved in across the street, see?" She looks at the direction he's pointing, it's the house across hers. That FOR SALE sign has been there for a year and knowing that someone new is moving in there gives her mixed feelings. "You must be Rowanna De Vera, right? i met your moms earlier and they told me you were eight just like him, so..." Oh, so if moms told him then he's someone to trust? Though the hopeful feeling that she can trust this man sinks back as she watches him wave the twenty dollar bill. "Can you try to be friends with the boy?" Oh. "Just give it a chance and you can keep this! He's a good kid. You'll like him." He grins to her, "But you gotta keep it a secret too, okay? It wouldn't be friendly to say his dad sent you." Do parents really need to bribe a kid? The thought alone makes her unimpressed and feel bad for Cove, no parent should ever have to bribe another kid to have friends. "What'd ya say? Want to make a deal?" He shook the bill again, she can tell he really wants her to befriend the boy but she didn't want to stay near a man right now. Before she knew it, her feet moved and she started running. She didn't bother to look back and explain as he kept calling her from behind. "Come back! I'm sorry if I scared you! I didn't know how else to ask!" Excuses, excuses. Every kid knows that a man approaching you with money to get you to befriend their kid is not the proper way. Eventually his shouting faded into the distance, Rowanna slowed down to catch her breath as the cold air kisses her skin. Seeing herself in the familiar hill, she looked around her surroundings. There was a boy sitting at the top of one hill, almost completely hidden within the long grass and white flowers surrounding him. His head was buried in his knees, staring ahead of himself. For whatever reason, he hasn't noticed her yet. Rowanna watches him a minute longer, it makes her think that this encounter is like seeing a deer in the woods, but deers don't have glasses but this new boy did. She took a step forward which made him glance her way, giving her a good glance. He had aquamarine eyes at the moonlight seems to reflect, she feels her breath hitch at the pretty color before awkwardly raising a hand. "Hey, space cadet. Are you lost?" He jumped to his feet immediately, his hands balling into fists as they rest on his side. He didn't say anything, just staring at her which makes her fidget.

“What's your name?" She asks him, wanting to be sure this is the same boy the stranger earlier had told her about. "My name's Cove. My dad and I moved here..." He sniffles, Rowanna mentally cheers for finding the missing boy. "So, why did you move here?” She finds herself asking, watching as the boy wipes his tears. “My mom and dad don’t want to live with me anymore, so my dad took me and brought me here with him!” He hiccups, tears streaming down his cheeks. Watching the boy beside her weep, Rowanna feels her stomach turn uncomfortably. She doesn’t like seeing people cry.

It doesn’t take long before she hears their parents searching for them. “Kids, where did you go?” She turns her head to call out before Cove cuts her off. “Don’t tell them we’re here!” She finds herself hesitating before she gets cut off as Cove’s dad rushes to hug him. “So, what did you think of your new buddy?” Rowanna looks up at her mom and thinks it over, “I think I’m gonna marry him.” She says with a grin, reading stories of how princesses meet their princes. She hopes that Cove will be that prince charming of hers. As soon as the conversation with the parents ends and Cove and his dad leaves, Rowanna finds out there’s a playdate tomorrow set up by Cove’s dad so Cove can bond with her and Lizzie.

She hopes she gets to befriend the boy soon and maybe get him to smile atleast once. She goes to bed with a smile and excitement bubbling in her bones.
