Greetings! I want to impart this magnificent medium. A channel that has given me many things in time. Entertainment, interesting stories, writing tips, etc.

HOW MANY YEARS do you think it's been since anyone cleaned the swarf from this machine!? (never apparently) Looking for some cables/pipes I lifted up all the floor plates and they were all the same. Haha. It went down about 60cm. This is a giant underfloor lathe that machines train wheels while they’re still attached to the bogie/train. The train drives over the top of it, so all the hot swarf being machined off flies all over the place and gets into every part of this old machine!

Old old machines. No one around here is sure exactly how old, between 1915-1921. We still use this mill often!
