Hi everyone. Presenting a work called The Old Bridge 1900. Inspired by a period archive photo of Pontypridd, I reimagined the scene turn of the last century. Where lamps where positioned on each end of the bridge. I wanted to highlight the lights, not only from the lamps, but from the shop windows and houses. Set in a late autumn afternoon, the trees framing the scene are loosing their leaves, adding to the atmosphere of the work. People in period costume populate the scene giving a narrative.
