Pretty red. Wonder if she gets bothered by a lot of guys with hair like that. People always talk about redheads. Course, she looks like she might just shoot you if you did.. She can probably handle herself.

37 and 38

37. How is your character’s imagination? Daydreaming a lot? Worried most of the time? Living in memories?

Darla has a vivid imagination, although somewhat limited in scope with her ignorance of so much of both pre-war and current Commonwealth life. She daydreams often when she does more tedious tasks, mostly of happy things - how her next project might turn out, getting to buy that pretty dress in Diamond City, meeting the perfect partner and falling in love, things like that. There’s always a tinge of worry in the back of her mind, but she tries to push that back. Part of the reason she focuses so hard on daydreams and work - an empty mind leads to worry growing. 

Similarly, she doesn’t like to focus on her memories. Most of them are unpleasant before she settled where she is now, and rarely does she look upon them fondly. In particular, it hurts to think of what she misses from the Institute, and of Doctor Savel.

38. Are they basically negative when facing new things? Suspicious? Hostile? Scared? Enthusiastic?

Enthusiastic and fascinated by new things, Darla is always eager to learn something. She’s not a negative person in general, and new situations is no exception. She’s also rather naive, merrily launching forward to do her best without considering the real risks and consequences of her actions.

19, 21, 25

19. What were your character’s deepest disillusions? In life? What are they now?

Formerly Moxie believed that the village she was raised in was perfect, she had no exposure to the outside world until shortly before leaving, but that exposure affected her decision to find another purpose elsewhere. I’m being vague on purpose but I’ll elaborate on all that happy stuff in time.

21. What are your character’s manners like? What is their type of hero? Whom do they hate?

Moxie tries really hard to be polite, but she can come off as being too blunt or straightforward on occasion. It’s more of a cultural difference than anything, and she doesn’t mean offense by telling someone that they’re wrong or that something they’re doing is impractical, she’s just trying to be helpful.

She considers heroic people to be wholly noble in their pursuits, acting on ideals that go beyond their interests and benefit others, even if they receive nothing in return for their actions. Moxie tries to follow her own ideas of heroism. She’s not perfect at it, but she tries.

If there’s anyone Moxie hates it’s people who hurt innocents. She has no problem killing others if they harm people who keep to themselves and want to live peacefully. That’s pretty much how she makes a living now.

26. What does your character’s home look like? Personal taste? Clothing? Hair? Appearance?

Moxie doesn’t consider her old village her home anymore, and right now she doesn’t live in any place in particular. She sort of drifts around and moves to wherever her job takes her.

I don’t know how to describe her personal taste? Practical? STRONG?? She dresses in a way that helps her do her job efficiently (not including her hair which is long mostly out of self-indulgence), and while she has mixed feelings about being fucking giant, it helps to have a look that makes people think twice before crossing her.

“Ooh, she kind of looks worn out. A farmer? Probably not, not with all those guns strapped on. Another mercenary then, I bet. Maybe a courier. Either way, she’s probably a tough cookie if she travels a lot. I wonder if she ever smiles. I don’t think I’d want to annoy her...”

11 and 17

((11: Is there a place they go to in order to escape the world, the stresses of life? What’s their favourite place?

Tetsuo doesn’t really have many places to go to escape stress. Occasionally, he will lock himself inside his workshop and tinker until he feels better, but it’s more the result of the isolation and busy-work than the actual location. Half the time, he ends up just passing out and sleeping off the stress.

His favorite place is a section of the highway overpass just north of the city. It’s dangerous to get to, but he finds the view to be unbeatable. He’s only gone there once for leisure: the other handful of times he was using the spot as a vantage point to support Minutemen operations.

17: Do they have any guilty pleasures? They embarrassed about them? Do they flaunt them?

It’s not something that he would admit to anyone, but he partially enjoys it when people are terrified of Red. Seeing someone nearly cower in front of the thing he cobbled together gives him pride and amusement, even though he knows he should be indifferent about it. He feels much better about enjoying it when said person is a raider or gunner.

Hearing footsteps coming from up the road, Tetsuo placed his adjustable wrench on top of the generator he had been working on, and stood, grimacing for a moment as he cracked his back. RED, also having picked up on the approaching stranger, rolled into view, sitting calmly next to the boathouse.

“Hey,” Tetsuo called out to the woman he spotted walking down the road, and waved. “Haven’t seen you by here before, stranger. You a trader, scavenger? ... Raider?”

Cindi is very very good at hiding when she’s nervous (and not a whole lot makes her nervous in the first place). If she was, though, she might start examining her nails a lot, and adopt a rather fixed smile. Honestly if you see that sort of thing best bet is to run.
