I love this picture of the pastor of my childhood church. This is the creek where my dad, my great-uncle, my mamaw, my great-aunts, my siblings, and I were baptized over the decades. It's in Papaw, Virginia. #creekbaptism #baptism #oldtimereligion #freewillbaptist #papawvirginia
HONESTLY, I THINK I'M STARTING TO SEE THE APPEAL OF YOUR RAREPAIR OLDTIMERELIGION-
I mean, we've already shipped Ignacio and Skiddad, and Ignacio with Gregor, so why not split the difference and try Gregor and Skiddad?
Ngl, they kinda give me those Ineffable Husbands (Or Aziraphale and Crowley vibes), so does BurningCross/FieryFaith (Ignacio x Gregor) and HolyDemon, but I can especially see it with OldTimeReligion
Either way, I like this rarepair! It's silly :3 (If you have HCs about em, I'd LOVE to hear about them >:3c)
Im glad you're starting to like it! :D
The story of how I started shipping it was odd but funny nonetheless.
And your sooo right with splitting the difference thing :3
Also I havent seen Good Omens(thats what those 2 are from ,right?) but from the stuff I've seen on my dash or reccomened to me on my youtube, seems about accurate.
Once again I am glad you like it :D
Though currently I dont have any headcanons about them <3
I'll be sure to share them with you when I do :D
Also if you ever wanna talk to me about anything at all feel free to send and ask to my askbox or something :]
Almost on the verge of happy tears because I drew a really cute tickle art of a ship I'm pretty sure only me and one of my friends ship.Like for real I don't know why I'm like this
Also tell me if you wanna see it
“Christianity was an epidemic rather than a religion. It appealed to fear, hysteria and ignorance. It spread across the Western world, not because it was true, but because humans are gullible and superstitious.”

The Occult: A History
Old time religion is early this week. The Coming World-Wide Calamity was originally published in 1943 and sold for a dime. There isn’t anything remarkable about it except the cover. One thing I’ve noticed about modern zealot evangelicals causing havoc on our school libraries, forcing away diversity progress and electing a buffoon? You don’t hear them saying “Love thy neighbor” anymore. The other thing that bothers me? Whenever one of the disasters shown on this ridiculous book cover actually happens it’s God that caused it, not climate change or science or reason or denying fools in office. Sigh. The author, one D. W. “Matter” doesn’t matter at all, except for the notable prediction of 100 pound hailstones! The same drivel occurs in most of these disposable tracts. But I absolutely LOVE the cover. “The Coming World-Wide Calamity by D. W. Matter” 1943(?) not indicated. Artist not identified. collection Jim Linderman
