Whumpee that is so scared of Caretaker they'd rather be in one of Whumper's patronizing embraces again.
They crave the familiarity even if it hurts them. They can't trust anyone but Whumper anymore. How do they know Caretaker isn't gonna trick them and treat them worse?
And Whumper? Whumper is all for it, watching from afar. Giggling to themselves as Whumpee fails to bond with Caretaker. Taunting Caretaker that they can always return Whumpee to safe hands.
When Whumpee spots Whumper they almost wanna run into their arms but don't because that would make Caretaker mad. They didn't know what an angry Caretaker could do. Even if Whumper had inflicted so many scars onto Whumpee's body, at least Whumper was predictable unlike Caretaker.
Whumpee that gets to have a comfort object during/after experiments preformed by Whumper until one procedure where Whumpee can't take the pain and as punishment their comfort object is taken away and not given back because it's "made them too soft."
When the experiment is over, Whumpee is thrown back into containment without their only comfort, greatly struggling. The only thing that kept them sane between torture now gone...
Occasionally, Whumper taunts them, dangling it a few feet away from Whumpee, saying things like "I'll give it back if you'll be strong," knowing what they have in store for Whumpee. Whumpee is desperate and promises to be good, not caring about what further punishments there could be, just yearning for that thing back.

whole conversation wrecked me all this show does is make me cry
I was looking at my ancient edits and found this one from 2023, it was an AU in which AMTSC was meant to obviously be a skit but went horribly wrong and got leaked to the public n stuff
nothing ever came of said AU except this edit but it was a very interesting idea to say the least... feel free to use it for a fic or sumn 🤞
as much as I like Dylan and Betsy things are feeling a bit tense like others have pointed out... also I'm missing Mason and Betsy a lot now especially cus I was doing a bit of a late-2024-early 2025 marathon
and it's not that Mason and Betsy are like the perfect couple considering they had multiple rows but things defo felt less tense with them in a way???
