Shooting Oliver a text after he tucked his bible back into his satchel he patted the external harddrive to make sure it was still there. Waving to his brother and giving Aubrie a hug he walked the few blocks from the church to Java the Hut, his favorite coffee spot, to wait for Oliver. When he reached the shop he stopped in the window to adjust the brown velvet suit, inspect the positioning of his pocket square and tie, and adjust strands of his bright red hair. He was a bit nervous, Maddox was always the chatty one, and if he was being honest to himself he thought that Oliver was sort of adorable. Still, he told himself as he sat in the window seat and ordered a chocolate croissant and a white mocha, this is a business meeting. Running his fingers through his bright red hair he waited, occasionally looking up from his phone, while he waited for Oliver to turn up.
