On the run from shady Hollywood dealings sparked by a disastrous film release, self-obsessed producer Ollie Swagger retreats to his Canadian hometown and takes a job at the local film society. He is at odds with his delusional ambitions and the daily stress of having a real job, with which he has zero experience. A botched members-only screening, loan sharks on the hunt, and a man who claims to have invented dijon mustard are all but some of the trials Ollie Swagger must face in his quest for glory.
