Female runners are always so perfectly turned out with their makeup on point and their hair highlighted and their little earrings and so on.
I am both in awe of their level of put-togetherness, as someone who can't even match my socks on my day off, and hoping that some day I'll see a female athlete with hairy legs and a buzzcut dyed to match their national flag.
We tolerate no Simone Biles slander in this house. Still the GOAT. Always the GOAT.
Handball is crazy! You can take your goalie out and have them play offense.
Unpopular Olympic Opinions
Although the figure skating is gorgeous, if I have to hear that Moulin Rouge song one more time I may throw something at my television.
Whoever was responsible for the elevator-Muzak version of Radioactive should be punished!
I miss the focus on artistry and not falling. I am glad the sport is evolving, but it's jarring to see so many falls as skaters are now required to literally defy gravity. The person who manages to succssfully invent hover skates will have won figure skating forever.
NBC's prime time Olympic coverage is hideous, and doesn't even cover a full event. They stopped coverage of one of the snowboard qualifiers before it ended, telling people to go stream it so they could re-broadcast their crappy prime time coverage again. Ugh. ( on second thought, maybe that is not an unpopular opinion.)
witches and wizards like Neivell who have trouble with their aim - practising ribbon twirling because you have to be so accurate and shit. seriously if you don’t believe me:
Olympic Thoughts
Man I'd like to at the side of the road for distance running and cycling events, so I could grab the hundreds of water bottles the athletes are throwing away.
Olympic Thoughts
(While watching 2 1/2 hours of the women's marathon) "Wow, Diet Ginger Ale tastes really pretty good..."
