Oly Ralfe show 1st July 2017 at one-day festival in Oxford

Oly Ralfe is part of a brilliant line-up on Saturday 1st July at the Irregular Folks Summer Session in Oxford. Oly will be performing tracks from his forthcoming solo instrumental piano album (release details to be announced soon). Hosted by the comedian Paul Foot, the bill also includes Yorkston Thorne Khan, Rozi Plain, Laura J Martin, Go Dark, Jack Cheshire, Dead Rat Orchestra, speakers' tent, a mini cinema including a film by Adam Buxton, and more.

Taking place in the riverside grounds of the Victoria Arms, Old Marston, even if the weather doesn't hold the attractions are totally tented, and if it's sunny the tent sides come up! Tickets are only £15 in advance from WeGotTickets or in person at Truck Store Oxford. Please note, this is a 16+ event. Doors are at midday, and Oly's on stage at 4pm.

Oly Ralfe show - Waterstones Oxford, Thu 28 July

Music in the Bookshop: On Thursday 28th July, Oly Ralfe will be playing a show at Waterstones Oxford in Café W between 6pm and 7pm, and entry is free.

Oly will be performing new piano pieces from his forthcoming instrumental album, accompanied by Barney Morse-Brown on cello.

It's also an opportunity to see Oly's exhibition in Café W, featuring his illustrations from the new novel A Field Guide to Reality by Joanna Kavenna.

Oly Ralfe exhibition + limited edition prints for sale

An exhibition featuring a selection of Oly Ralfe's illustrations from the novel A Field Guide to Reality is at Waterstones Oxford now and throughout August in Café W. Limited edition prints from A Field Guide to Reality are for sale. There are 13 prints to choose from, either framed or unframed, all limited to 50 copies each, signed and numbered. Also available is a complete set of all 13 unframed prints in a presentation box. A message from Oly Ralfe about ‘A Field Guide to Reality’

I've illustrated a novel, out now. It's called A Field Guide to Reality by the talented writer Joanna Kavenna. Through the eyes of Eliade, a waitress in Oxford who is tasked with a quest, we explore 'reality' in its many versions and mutations. It's a mind expanding trip and a great read. Its strangeness also suits our strange times. I worked on the 60 illustrations over the last year and I'm excited to see it reach the world. Oly x
