Solomon always claimed it was a potion gone wrong that caused him to be stuck at this age for eternity, but the truth wasn't as certain. The sorcerer had many partners and many that he loved and truly thought were finally the one, but as they stayed forever in their young bodies after years of being together, he knew none of them belonged together.
The years came and went and after a while, Solomon began questioning if he had found his soulmate many moons ago, but that damn potion of his truly kept him eternally young. He would never know, but the thought kept him up at night when his mind would wander to his past. He would wonder what his life could have been like. Would he have had kids? Would he have grandkids? Would his parents be proud of the legacy he created with his family and would his people be pleased with his rule? Would it have made any difference or would he be forever cursed to end up here still: alone, forever wondering, and without someone to call his own.
