Father of Orlando shooter was fund-raising for attack against Pakistan, suggests FBI
The father of Omar Mateen, the man who carried out the Orlando nightclub shooting in 2016, was engaged in fund-raising for an attack against Pakistan, suggested FBI
According to an AFP report, Seddique Mateen was a long-time informant for the FBI, said court documents.
The FBI also said it had received a tip that Seddique Mateen was engaged in fund-raising that may have been intended to contribute to “an attack against the government of Pakistan.”
