He wasn't home. He'd left with the car off to do God knows what, despite that going against her terms of letting him out of that stupid hospital - and she'd let him. Only now, he still wasn't back, and she'd gone into labor. She dialed the number of the cell phone she'd forced upon him, praying he'd pick up before she had to call a cab.
"What is it?" He answered as soon as he had gotten through to Jade, pressing the phone to his ear, despite the fact he hated it tremendously. Too much of a traditionalist, he would have preferred to just go ahead and keep as he was prior, but she had forced it upon him as she often was enforcing all these rules these days after he had been freed from the asylum. That damn hospital. There were muffled screaming in the background to him, of course he had been busy kidnapping and attempting to kill again, but it seemed on this occasion he was interrupted by his wife who had called him several times, unfortunately.
