There seemingly was a cause for celebration around every corner, lately. If it wasn't a good grade on a test, it was the Giants winning another game. Tonight, it was no different. After Luci's party, Alex was walking around aimlessly on campus. He had opted out from drinking for the night, which was all too strange enough. Lately, that's all he had been doing. Not for a particular pain blocker, but because it was fun. So being sober on a Saturday night wasn't a typical thing. Fishing around in his pockets, he felt a series of bills. "Well, might as well. Why break a routine?" Alex shrugged to himself. There was a student on campus who sold alcohol under the table, and Alex was nearly a regular for the kid. Making his way over to the particularly shady dorm building, the ritual night's drinking began.

With a few bottles of vodka and hard liquor in hand, he carefully made his way to the edge of campus. There was never any security on that side, which made it an easy place to get hammered without getting caught. Placing his drinks on a log, Alex took the first bottle, popping off the lid and taking a large gulp. Feeling the burning sensation trickle down his throat, he shook his head violently, trying to numb it. Taking a second swig of it, it was easier with every follow up.
