It wasn't that he didn't like eating. It is quite the opposite. Tim loved the food Alfred would bring down to the cave for him when he was particularly focused on a mission.
For Tim it was more along the lines of forgetting to eat. Not to mention that for most of his life, he never had to worry about cooking. What little he knew about cooking he had learnt from Dana. It was never really a problem until he moved out of the manor.
It had been a lot of takeout and very few home cooked meals. Of course he asked Alfred to teach him a few tricks. He had to eat healthy to stay fit. Not to mention it was highly recommended that he stay away from the junk food on account of missing his entire spleen.
What it came down to was time. He would forget to eat, then not have time to really make himself something good because he was so hungry.
"I want to say lunch yesterday." Tim rubbed the back of his head in thought. "No wait! Steph split her sandwich with me during patrol last night."
That didn't make it sound any better. Tim was with Jason, helping him out with a mission. Almost a full 24-hours since he last ate. His stomach growling at an embarrassing volume.
