Headcanon - On Identity pt 2
{Along with rarely wearing his uniform off site, Archer likewise rarely uses his real name when meeting with strangers for the first time. I was using Apollo for a while to disassociate his full name with Team Rocket, but Apollo is probably the absolute last thing he would lead with. Archer could be a fairly common name, but Apollo is a well known surname.
He goes, most often, by Janus or Archer Janus, taken from the ancient Roman polytheistic faith (similar to Apollo, the Greek and Roman sun god) and the fact that Janus is a two-faced god (implying the deception).}
