currently i’m still in the middle of watching “more than friends” and i’m loving it so far. ALL THE F’N DRAMA!
i’m team lee su even though i consider his toxic traits and as for that i can have a bias opinion about the CEO, i’m sorry team junsu. anyway, moving on, the first meeting of CEO and wooyeon at the library back in jeju was promising, i admit i found it cute myself until CEO learned that it was the girl who mistakenly drunk calling him for a year. and i liked how the CEO told her about that truth, but the way he kinds of giving her anything (ofc he can since he’s the CEO) gives me a vibe of a little lovebombing and i find it a little 🚩 just to win her love. like he’s “being okay” with everything is fine. he’s giving too much that it’s turning into red flag. and i really like wooyeon’s development here, from being obsessed to this one guy (and she still likes him from the depth of her being i know) she’s learning to show up for herself more and doing things for herself. going back to CEO, so as the episode progresses, there, we’re seeing his little toxicity, like what lee su said he’s not confident. but ig it’s the fear of losing his love again due from his past experience from his first love for holding back. so he tried not holding back this time for pursuing woo yeon but for still for the wrong reasons. he still continue holding back and love bombing her and that can be dangerous.
as for lee su he’s finally learning to own up his mistakes and reflecting on them, but healing takes time. his red flag is now fading to pink but i hope it turns to green later on. haha
it almost feels like what the writers did here was the CEO looks like a green flag first until you saw his reds and then woo yeon is a walking red flag that is slowly working for it to turn green. i like the reversals going on between the two guys here. well this is just my take on for this drama so far since i’m still in episode 10.
