working on something
If you were to make a song fic, because God knows how many WIPs you crazy good writers have, what song would you use, and for what fandom, and for what character, and why?? You can choose as many songs as you'd like!!!
Funny thing is, I can’t write with music at all. Like. I need complete silence when I’m writing or I’ll get distracted. And this is true for anything I do, be it work, reading, gaming, etc. The only thing I can get done with music playing in the background is when I’m making art. So compared to the writers you might be thinking of, I don’t actually have that many WIPs that are inspired-by or are song based.
I picked a few songs that have inspired a mood in me and one day I hope to actually write something for it but we’ll have to see when that’ll actually happen hahaha....
tut on how to do the heads pls? 🤡
you’re gonna have to be more specific anon 🤡🤡
wow i love realizing that i completely fucked up a writing assignment because i thought it meant something else and now have to redo it so i can make it before the due date :')
On what coming into ones self is like
I’ve decided that coming into oneself hurts. The changes in your brain and heart stretch and pull at the fabric of who you understood yourself to be as a child, a lot like growing pains. Only this is felt much more deeply and with a resounding, lingering, permanence in the core. When the stretch ceases and the cells settle, you begin to see that there are some parts of yourself that didn’t quite line up with others, but yet, others still that you weren’t entirely aware of; that heated glow that had been simmering, and now, under enormous pressure, bulges, waiting to erupt.
Society demands one thing when your soul tells you, wants, and desires another, leaving you with an entirely different kind of hollow and lonely hurt. Bone deep and frustrating; blurring the lines of the form your soul is begging to take. Denying oneself this is the root of confusion and self-loathing.
Allowing others (others who are all struggling with the artistry of sculpting along with you,) to alter or halt the creative process is like adding fuel to the fire that is already engulfing the whole of the Hindenburg.
Don’t be afraid of your soul. If you listen, it will tell you exactly what you need in order to be at peace with the churning ocean in your heart and brain.
Be afraid of voices telling you otherwise.
