Update about the new one shot! and update to The Ghost

Okay, so this new one shot is already 8,000 words (because of, just, who I am as a person haha) and I have two major scenes left to write, but since it is a representation of domestic violence, I really want and HAVE to get it right. I had hoped it would be complete by now, but it's probably going to take me another day or two, so thanks for your patience! I think it really is a tremendously wonderful representation of who Daryl is <3 <3 <3 (upcoming one shot based on this drabble) After that is released, I'll be working on the next part of The Ghost and we are really getting into the meat of the story now, so hold onto your pants! It should (hopefully) be out toward the end of this week. K LOVE YOU BYEEEEEE

Hello 🤗 Are you still writing?

Hi 😄

Well, the muses are fickle. I'm not actively writing anything right now.

But uh, I've got thoughts of writing. Mostly of Vigilante/Adrian Chase. And a little tiny teeny bit of Eddie Munson.

it is a curious phenomenon to watch; there are so many thoughts in my head, so many words, bursting at the seems and running around in circles, screaming, foaming to be said and then --

sitting at the computer, typing, the space to write and --

the mind goes empty.

where do the words go, when I sit here trying to write them? it is almost as if

the moment I sit down, the moment I intend to write

the very moment there is intention and a step towards creation ...

that stirring of soul, of consciousness through the density of the mind --

I am pleased with myself lately

Not only have I been steadily working on LTYW’s next chapter, but I also spent a good amount of time today (around work things) hammering out more of a world build for a LTYW gaslamp fantasy-original world conversion (I have a map now!).

I also have been rereading the last few chapters of my current novel project to get back into the headspace of it and am itching to dive back into it and finally finish Part One.

So

I mean

I haven’t actually really done a whole lot yet, but it feels like I have? And I don’t feel like a dried up patch of ground when it comes to writing anymore? So that’s always a good thing

Of course--sitting back down with my notebooks and words I just gie this sidelong glance to my dayjob like... Why can’t I just quit that nonsense and focus on this again?? Oh right... bills.
