“It’s all the support that we get that actually helps us develop more not only as a person, but also as a group, huh? It’s pretty hard to imagine that if there’s no support or nothing behind us at all.. everything would be so different compared to now. And that’s a.. hm, scary thought.”

Chorong couldn’t help but to let out a dumfounded laugh upon the picture. She wasn’t going to lie, it was pretty funny to her. Also, the fans would’ve probably loved to see a ‘realistic’ picture like so. “I mean, your fans would probably love that.” She took a small pause. “But wouldn’t your company say something to you- aren’t they always right behind your back waiting to nag about something..” She shook her head, a small airy laugh leaking out. “I know that’s always the case for me.”

          normally, this is where the part he takes time to think about his actions .. but nope! “you should’ve said it before, the picture’s already uploading!” he smiled being a little too distracted with his picture somewhat amazed at how fast the internet connects people. although, she was a tad bit right, but jae knew better than to dwell on his thoughts about a mere post. a picture of a chicken wouldn’t ruin his reputation .. he assumed it wouldn’t. if anything, he found it to be more strengthening. “noona, do you have an instagram?”

          HALLOWEEN, everyone’s favorite time of the year. at least, that’s how people back in california viewed it. here in korea, jae noticed that it wasn’t the biggest event that they celebrated ( to the fact people don’t really care ), but when people did, things tended to get a bit overboard .. 

          he was thankful that he had someone else to celebrate it with. mark, being from california, got along with his sense of halloween pride. around mark, he could express his ideas for halloween in his own comfortable tongue. it was relieving to him. talking to mark meant that he didn’t need to ask how to say “blood goblins” in english. through various conversations and planning; HOLLAween was born. HOLLAween for them was around the corner, but for HOLLAween to actually get started, a supply stock was heavily demanded.

         FIRST OFF .. CUPCAKES. it wasn’t hard to find a cute cupcake to make everyone smile, right? cute bat decorations and edible spiders filled the toppings of these small cupcakes. yes, perfect. all these were perfect. EXCEPT ... 

          “what the ... mark ..” jae called out cautiously, his hand signalling to get over here. “doesn’t that look like a ... a --- you know.. ” he nudged him rather .. concernedly.

「ӎ」┄ “ What? In the cupcake? “ Staring down at the.. Very not-safe-for-work cupcake that sat onto the table, Mark smiles sheepishly as he shakes his head and averts his eyes from the… Image. It wasn’t a typical design for a cupcake and it wasn’t one children should be exposed to. Clearing his throat, the male places a hand on the other’s shoulders and leads him away from that particular table of desserts. “ Let’s uh, go get something else to eat. Do you want a cookie instead? “

          “you know .. these kinda look like --” his eyes grew wide as the thought he had in his own head just came to him. “oh my god, OH MY GOD ..” he couldn’t help but cover his eyes with a single hand, trying to control the laughter that demanded to be let out. “MARK, WE GOTTA GO---”

The only reaction from the younger male was in form of laughter that eventually broke into raspy short breathless ones as Jongin clutched his sides, bringing a hand to wipe the tears that had inevitably begun to streak the corner of his eyes. “Ahhh, aish hyung. Why would you want to go hit that random guy on the back of his head?!” He broke off into further strings of chuckles, finally collapsing in his seat at the cafe as he eyed the older. “In what angle does he look like Chanyeol hyung to you? Maybe the height but definitely no elf ears there…”

The elder could only just sit in disbelief of what he had just done, tuning out the laughing of his dongsaeng beside him. He really needed to pay attention to things more or else his eyes would end up getting him in trouble. “Okok- I get it I messed up, ok the guy was tall! I think I just assumed it was Yeol..” He trails off, embarrassment clearly written all over his face as he grips at the side of the chair he was sitting in. “Aish.. you’re right, ahhh let’s just hurry and eat so we can get outa here. I feel him glaring dagegrs in the back of my head.” He mumbles the last part as he lifts his sandwich to bite into it.
