Winter was either a blessing for a curse for Bobby when it came to commuting outside. For a pro, he has always loved to see the white dust over the various cars and scenery. It made it feel like Winter and just added tot he element of Christmas all together. There was the cons, as well, such as the cutting wind and ice. Ice was the worst thing for the rapper. His balance would be completely thrown off and made it seem like he didn’t even have a touch of gravity to his body. It seemed like for every other step that he had committed to, he slipped. The friction was just not existing between the soles of his boots and the concrete of the street.
That was, until he started to walk by one of the larger shades of buildings that sheltered the street from the snow. It was like a haven to him, actually letting him take a step with no fear or no worry about busting his head open on the concrete in front of everyone. What a way to go, right? His crown was covered by a thick hood from his insulated coat. The thing was pretty much a life savior from the get go at purchase. It’s only a year or two old, but it has served him pretty well throughout the whole ordeal.
His thoughts were silenced with the thud to the back of his head. A snowball fight was expected but who was the one trying to pick a fight? “Yah.” He turned around to the see the individual apologizing in advance as he rushed to him. “What do you even think you’re doing throwing random snowballs at people? You do know that there’s ice there too, right?!”
Florin knew right away what a mistake he’d made in assuming that pelting someone in the back of the head with a snowball - especially without any sort of warning beforehand - was not a completely horrible idea. He mentally kicked himself for his foolishness as he saw his victim turn and hurry towards him. So, maybe he should have been more careful about making sure he was getting the right person. That would have saved him from this humiliating confrontation now. But then again, maybe he shouldn’t have attacked anyone with a snowball at all, regardless of whether they were good friends or not. This stranger had a point. Where there was ice, there was injury. Florin knew so well enough, considering he’d been assaulted with some just last week. He’d been hit so hard in the chest that for a moment he’d thought he’d been shot by a bullet. The mischievous neighborhood kids had run from him before he could even scold them for being so awful, and he was probably no better than they were for doing something similarly reckless. Chances were, this stranger could be so angry with him that he’d kill him.
Well, maybe not kill him. But something in his gut told him to expect a punch or two.
“I’m sorry,” he said again, ducking his head. He held his hands up in front of him, as a sign of surrender. He really hadn’t meant to cause any trouble, but trouble was something that followed him around, no matter how hard he tried to avoid it. “It was an accident. I thought you were somebody I knew! I’m sorry for hitting you!”
