His heart did a dive as he saw the man in the white aiming a blaster at Jyn. His vision was blurry, his eyes disoriented but he still saw the imminent threat that was to Jyn. Cassian took a deep breath, leaning heavily on the wall, and took careful aim. The blaster recoil made him cry and wince at the pain that shook within his body. However, he cracked a smile when he saw the man fall. Jyn was safe.

He limped over to her, simultaneously watching as she rushed to the console....and the ominous moon above them.

“Jyn...” He breathed, wanting to be close to her. He didn’t know where everyone else was...but he could sense...he had a feeling that they weren’t getting off this planet.

Honest answer? I have no idea. I haven’t read much of the speculation about it, just because I’m excited to see how it unfolds in canon.

THAT SAID, I think it would be cool if she was a Kenobi. Obi-Wan’s granddaughter, I guess? Idk. I just like to think Obi-Wan was getting some action out there in the desert while watching out for Luke. Hahaha.

I think if she was Luke’s daughter it seems a little too obvious? But who knows.

Either way, I’m pumped to find out!

when I started shipping it if I did: like half way through watching rogue one, then INTENSELY after the credits rolled omgmy thoughts: oh god, i love them so much, they’re so beautiful and painful and just SO GOODwhat makes me happy about them: their quick-forged trust, the found-family dynamic they have going, and their faces :)what makes me sad about them: canon. canon makes me sad. things done in fanfic that annoys me: i really love most of the fic i’ve read for them, so my annoyances tend to be more general, like verb tense or no paragraph breaks, ect.things I look for in fanfic: aus. i’m firmly ignoring canon at this point, y’all. bonus points for kid fic oh my godwho I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: bodhi! either one of them, tbhmy happily ever after for them: they get married and have kids and don’t ever have to worry about the empire after rotjwho is the big spoon/little spoon: i go back and fourth, but i really love cassian as the little spoon tbh :)what is their favorite non-sexual activity: probably sparring, even though we didn’t see it in canon at all. i just feel like they’d love it. (or just talking to each other lbr they just enjoy being in each other’s company!!)
