Iwai stifled a laugh around the rim of his coffee mug. The young man before him looked utterly unimpressed. Between them, the pom-pom lay innocuously upon the counter. The overhead light bounced over the ribbons in multitudes of colour as a gentle breeze filtered into the shop.
“No, not really,” he admitted mock-sincerely. “Cheerleaders smile a lot more.”
He set his drink back onto the table before continuing, “Anyway, I thought you were looking for an antique around the 5000 yen mark? This should fit the bill perfectly. Miho Kanazawa, the star flyer from Hayabusa, used this in the 1989 national competitions and won gold for the team, you know. It’s not just a piece of junk.”

Hyomi rolled her eyes as she was called up to the stage for the third time her whole shift already. She got up on the stage, she loved to sing but she hadn’t really had a lot of time to rest her voice since the other waitresses had been getting sick. She smiled out at the crowd as the slow. jazzy music started. Her voice came out a nice alto tone about the music, calming the rowdy patrons.

“Barely..” He mumbled and rolled his eyes “And could you stop twirling around me like that? It is kinda annoying..” He added lowly, sticking his hands deeper into his pockets as the cold wind followed by a few single snow flakes ran over his skin. As he had spent most of his days in the warmth of the orient he wasn’t really fond of the cold. Min-Ji sighed. Spirits. He didn’t like them much, always being too lively, too noisy and after all rather useless as well.
Jjong stopped in mid-air, crossing his legs as if sitting down and stuffing both his hands into the pocket of his hoodie. “Wow, aren’t we grumpy.”, he tried to hide his excitement about being seen, but the smile on his features widened noticably. “Gotcha on a bad day or is this your usual face?” He grinned unwavering, and blew another handful of snowflakes into the other’s face just because he could and would be rewarded with a proper response.
