a train with an emo bang

rattling its way to and fro along the rails of devonshire this anomaly of a train runs often under cover of night doing what? nobody knows, reports state that it has a crew some report only one member others 3 or 5 the numbers vary but one thing is consistent, they always look the same, how odd, must be some sort of uniform i suppose... either way GWR and network rail seem unbothered by the train, does it operate illegally? yes, does is bother anyone or delay things? no, so according to bureaucracy its not an issue they need to solve.

the train runs on battery power, how is this battery powered? why of course a person sized hamster wheel in the middle of the locomotive that a clone totally real normal person can run in to generate power. it hauls a very large shovel that seems really inconvenient unless you want a very large hole, a shipping container (probably full of more shovels) and a tanker of strawberry juice.

the locomotive is based on the class 66 a locomotive (if i hit it on the head with a hammer) used in may european countries but mostly the uk for freight operations.

an underwater train powered by bubbles

the oceans are not a place you commonly find trains unless there's been a tragic accident, or the train is having a day off on the beach. but this thingymajiggy doodad whatsit is a train that lives in the ocean, using a revolutionary technology called bubbles it powers itself through the seas by some sort of a water pump / pulse jet type thing. other than breaking the laws of physics this train has two coaches of freight one carrying purely denim dungarees and one with a bunch of mysterious boxes of mystical origin that idk probably are full of fish.

the locomotive is based on the Battle of Britain class of steam locos operating express services in the uk during the 1940s and 50s.
