"With my graphic novels I fight with stereotypes," said Xhenson about his book."I am focusing in a sustainable and international wine concept, and want my indiginous seeds concept to bring to more countries," shared Ivana about a slow wine. This Saturday (22.10. 2022), we were busy with our Online Human Library that we organized as part of the project ‘Bridging Communities by Community Empowerment’ supported by the Visegrad Fund. If you are curious to get to know more about civil society engagement in Visegrad and Western Balkan countries we will organize two more discussions in November. 

Moreover, we are getting ready to launch a series of workshops that will be open for young people, youth workers, and teachers. We will implement these workshops as part of Digital Tools project supported by the Erasmus + Programme. Stay tuned and have a nice week.

Insight into Online Human Library

"With my graphic novels I fight with stereotypes," said Xhenson about his book. For Miklos was the turning point in his story the possibility to work with people: "Meeting others with different mindset also changed my perspective on the World, and I want the same to experience for young people I work with. Quality takes time, but life is like a cake and it does not matter if you take a small piece sooner or later, because at the end you will have all the sweet cake of your life only for yourself." From visitors shared Natasha, that "I felt honored to hear a story of a parent of a kid with dyslexia, that I know a lot more now than before, amd see the importance of bringing this topic more into our society." And Iskra also felt, that "even as a book I could network and connect with others, that brought me new ideas and possibilities for my development."

Online Živá knihovna • Mladiinfo ČR

Osobní setkání mají sílu. Mohou změnit náš pohled na věc, na člověka. Na síle osobního setkání stojí i živé knihovny, akce, které umožňují potkat se s lidmi, kteří boří stereotypy a nesou si v sobě zajímavé příběhy. V sobotu 22. října se uskuteční v online prostoru jedna z nich. Text vznikl v rámci placené inzerce. Co je živá knihovna Živá knihovna je postavená na interakci mezi návštěvníkem a osobou – knihou, která sdílí svůj příběh. Během rozhovoru se návštěvník může zeptat jednoduše na cokoliv. A právě v možnosti položit jakoukoliv otázku a v přátelském osobním setkání je síla živé knihovny.…

Here goes a short review of them: a book that is behind organizing Folkowisko Festiwal @festiwalfolkowisko, book that is raising awareness on dyslexia and representing @dyslexia.association.einstein, book that is stands behind #slowwine, book that is coming from south Serbia, exploring Balkans through traditional dishes but also activating people around on environmental and ecological issues, book that is polo dancer, journalist with interest in social communication, book that’s part of Women in Tech and break the stereotype about women and coding, book that is changing life of young people and has passion for social enterprises, book that is advocating for Roma community and making graphic novels, book that is aiming to empower women and youth in Albania…

ONLINE HUMAN LIBRARY is LOADING... You could not maybe join our human libraries in Skopje, Tirana, Prerov, Vranje, or Gorajec, but you can definitely join our online human library. It will take place on 22. 10. 2022 from 14:00 - 17:00. You do not need to register but if you do we will send you a reminder day before the event and we will make sure that you talk with a book that caught your attention.

And now we are getting ready for Online Human Library that will take place on 22. 10. 2022 from 14:00 - 17:00.
