The 2020 Landrover Defender was the first ever defender to make it to the shores of North America which made it a big event. Starting at $62,800 this isn’t exactly a budget off-roader and only about 3 thousand cheaper than the 110 4 door variant. But if you thought that starting price was high than you will be shocked to hear that to spec out the defender 90 to the highest degree it will cost you around $130,000. Now for that sort of price you would want some bang for your buck. Which it delivers under the hood. Starting with the 2.0L 4 cylinder turbocharged engine that produces 296HP and 295LB-FT of torque along with propelling the vehicle from 0-100km/h in 7.1 seconds. The middle child of engines is the 3.0L 6 cylinder turbocharged engine producing 395HP and 406LB-FT which jumps it up to a 6 second flat 0-100km/h time. Now time for the big boy, in this relatively small vehicle. The highest model has the 5.0L V8 Supercharged making 518HP and 461LB-FT of torque. Making the 0-100km/h time only 5.2 seconds. Alright enough of the technical stuff, the outside of this vehicle is very utilitarian but still looks good. It has that old box style from the old defender combined with some sleeker curves to it. The colour of you were wondering is actually a Pangea Green and looks quite good on this vehicle. Overall I think this vehicle would make for quite a good off-roader except for the price. Anybody that’s looking for something to take off-roading or on trails is looking to beat the crap out of their vehicle so is it really something that you want to spend upwards of $60,000 on. Did you know that there are 3 Ford Mustang Shelby’s sitting in Ottawa for all to see. That’s right Donnelly Ford has 3 of these beasts on display curb side. This specific one is 1/500 Ford Shelby’s produced for 2020 and only 1/30 (in the world) with the bold edition package. That makes this rarer than most Ferrari’s and Lamborghini’s. Now the rarity of this car is by no means to treat it like a garage princess. Under the hood it has a modified 5.0L V8 with a whipple supercharged slapped on top, producing a whopping 825hp up from 460. That combined with approximately 600lb-ft of torque means that this monster can go from 0-60mph in 3.5 seconds. Now on top of that this car also comes with a 6 speed manual transmission, so it truly is a drivers car. But if you are spending quite a large amount of money on a muscle car you also want it to stand out and this car does just that. On the exterior you have a grabber lime paint job complimented by the black wheels and racing stripes. On top of that this vehicle is equipped with the bold package which changes up some of the exterior and interior features. Before we finish we also best look at the price. This current vehicle is listed for $194,725. Which is still fairly good pricing when you compare the specs of the vehicle.
