I guess all the others did this too.
My name is Beverly Marsh and I swear whatever you've heard about me is wrong. Unless you've heard it from my friends, the other members of what we call the Losers' Club. But if you heard it from Richie, it may actually still be wrong.
Between Light and Dark: Inspirations and Origins - Part 2
Most of my characters I created for myself, out of my own need whether to explore a new world in a game or a certain facet of a characteristic. Ebony-Rose was the only exception to this, named after my old mercenary bounty-hunter from swtor, she came to be recreated and role-played at the request of a friend who wanted a slave to experiment on. It was very dark RP. I had never before ventured into this, and I have no wish to ever delve into it again, though at the time it did hold a certain fascination since I knew a number of other RPers who said they enjoyed it. And so the short background bio for her was created as a Mandalorian warrior.
By the time my third session was coming to a close, I called things off OOC. IC and OOC lines were starting to blur with me and though I knew I was not my character, the physical pain, humiliation, emotional and psychological torture she was being put through was too much. The two previous sessions had me in tears filled with rage and anger, though I had said nothing to my friend and her male partner that was also a participant.
It was agreed upon IC that she would have served her purpose and would be returned to her burnt down village to whatever fate awaited her. I went on to delete the character at the time. For me she had been too damaged. It would be with the help of my then full time RP partner that we came up for her look from her face claim and I wrote about her under her real name Indisha Tenau. It was a fun ride while it lasted. She was full of anger and spirit, but still remained a good person at her core.
Though I will no longer write about her, she will live on in a different form in my new maehwa character for BDO, Solannie.
