This ask blog may or may not have been entierely abandoned for a while (a year?? almost a year?? i have no idea how long it's been ;-;)
But anyways, I'm rebooting this blog! New character designs and everything! I'm not changing everything though. Most of the designs are gonna be pretty recognizable from what they were and there's been some minor backstory changes.
I'm actually really excited to start working on this blog again and I'll probably start posting new stuff really soon!
For now I'm gonna keep the ask box open if yall wanna send in some asks, and for those who's asks have been collecting dust in the ask box I'll try my best and get to your questions as soon as possible!

I am Arsene Manchineel: Sinnoh native and recent transplant to the Galar region. Currently situated in an auxiliary research and rehab facility west of Ballonlea and Stow-On-Side, near the coast.
My work at the lab ranges from enclosure maintenance and cleaning, to licensing paperwork, to behavioral testing of potential starter Pokemon, and whatever else I may be instructed to do.
At the suggestion of the Professor, I’ve created this blog with the intention of tracking my progress, whether that be socialization with researchers/trainers in the area, answering questions that may pertain to my work and areas of study, or improving my art skills (which the Professor has encouraged me to hone in the field.)
I am required by law to inform any visitors that due to previous affiliation with the criminal organization known as Team Galactic, I am currently forbidden from owning Pokemon or obtaining an official Trainer’s license in any region. I am permitted to work alongside Pokemon only under supervision of the Professor or a similarly approved professional. Do with this information what you will.
It is currently my goal to become relicensed after having proved my ability to handle Pokemon. I haven’t decided what I might do beyond that.
While I am not as learned as a true Professor or even a bog standard researcher, I will still answer questions to the best of my abilities (or retrieve answers from the Professor). I prefer to work with Poison, Bug and Water types, but I am not exclusively interested in these types.
As time progresses and things change, I will update this post with new information.

I finally stopped waffling on making a Pokemon RP blog, and this is the result.
Any and all out-of-character comments will be carried out under a Readmore. I opted for somebody still learning about Pokemon biology because I myself am just a biology Enthusiast, not a professional. (This may change in the far flung future, if Arsene’s surname is any indication)
I’m excited to talk with other people and see how long I can stick with this blog! It’s not only for this fictional character’s growth, but my own too.
When I start to break into the blog a little more, I’ll add an About page, and FAQ page, and others.

Update, the wedding plot will go on as scheduled, but until the first of May the blog is on temp hiatus.
HELLO EVERYBODY Just dropping in to let you all know that I am NOT dead, just extremely busy. I got a “part-time” job that has been scheduling me 39 hours a week to do extremely strenuous tasks for all of my daylight hours, so doing anything outside of that has been nigh impossible.
I’m looking for a less stressful job currently, and there’s no telling when I’ll be posting regularly again, but it will happen because I like writing for this blog. Thank you to whoever’s stuck around for your patience and understanding.
