The agitation that had been taking up residence under his skin vanished as Grace launched himself out of the chair and down the hallway to the lab. Simon was there, one hand pressed over his ear with his shoulder pressed up in an attempt to protect the other one, curled into a ball. His head pressed against Rocky’s tunnel, lifting occasionally to bang back against it. Rocky was right, he was struggling to take a full breath, gasping instead.
Grace rushed to him.
