It wasn't often that you'd see Renan sitting at the bar sipping on whatever beer was on tap, he truly did hate the bitter taste, but he'd been in town for an event and the bar was the only thing open this late at night that'd award him some company. He would have much preferred a mixed drink, some concoction that the bartender threw together, but in these parts, with the old as dirt bartender serving him, he wasn't expecting much. The younger, more attractive bartender was towards the other end of the bar, and while Renan would usually love to introduce himself, the man seemed in quite the conversation with another patron. Renan watched their conversation, if you could call it that, for every few words he'd spit out, her mouth moved three times as fast. She was ranting to him, that had to be the case, and of course, that meant that she was upset about something. Renan couldn't help but assert himself into the conversation as he stood from his stool and walked over to slide into the empty space beside her. "You look like you could use some company that's not just listening because they're on the clock," an apologetic smile quickly being shot to the bartender, "who offers better advice than a lonely stranger, am I right?" He chuckled, "the names Renan." He at least should offer her an introduction if he was soon going to be prying into whatever was upsetting her.
