Jane has always wanted to grow up. Even when she was a little girl living in the midst of World War II, she wanted nothing more to be taken seriously as the eldest sister. Childhood was for the weak, and she didn’t need fairy stories to keep her company. She was more than capable off taking care of herself and finding her own sources of comfort. Even her adventures in Neverland feel like distant memories to her now.

As she’s grown up into a young woman, she knows just how capable she is and doesn’t understand why her parents are sending her and her younger brother off to a Protection Palace. She has tried to reason with them, but has found that they’re resolute on their decision. She will go to the Protection Palace as they wish, but she intends to not be happy about it.

 Jenna is the head of public relations with the Knights of Voice, she keeps people from discovering them as best she can and keeps track of the Knights informants, retired knights, etc. To make sure that they’re all safe, doing well and keeping up with the appearance of…well not existing. Jenna also helps to find locations where they might take people or drop them off to ensure that they’re secured locations and it’s easy to get civilians out of the way should they need to in case of an emergency or a fight. Jenna has been trying to investigate the Casino but she’s been thrown out a few times and suspects that they’re starting to catch on that she isn’t there just as a concerned citizen or interior designer.

Jenna’s interior design business is a cover to keep her head down and also makes it more plausible why she’s exploring random spaces and paying attention to every detail. Jenna does hang around the base quite often and is trying to help make the common areas a little more homey so that it feels less like a military base and more like a mansion estate that Rohan has as a cover after all he’s supposed to make it seem like Batman’s place, party up top and military underneath not Military year round.

When Skylar was born with golden blonde hair just as her mother had been born with, it felt as though the entire country of Corona went into a state of panic. Could the magic that once saved the former queen’s life have been passed down through a generation? It was no secret that Rapunzel’s mother had fallen terribly ill while pregnant with her, and therefore had to consume the magic of a flower to save her life as well as young Rapunzel’s, which was why her hair had always been so magical. However, no one could have predicted that it might transfer if she were to have her own children. Because of this, Rapunzel and Eugene kept their young daughter indoors most of her early childhood until they could be sure that their child didn’t obtain that same cursed power that Mother Gothel had been after. While the power did have some redeeming qualities such as the ability to heal, the family didn’t want that burden on their youngest child. 

Growing up, Skylar was made well aware of the Gothel family, and the danger they posed to the family, however, with her naïve childish mind, she never took it seriously until it was too late. Somehow, Mother Gothel had gotten word that the youngest Fitzherbert child had been born with the same golden locks that Rapunzel had been gifted as a baby. While nothing happened in the first few years of her life, it wasn’t long before the woman tried once again to obtain the power. At the age of seven, Skylar had snuck out into the courtyard of the castle, drawing on the cobble stone with chalk. A mysterious figure in a dark cloak started to approach her, which startled the young princess. It only took one scream for the guards to come rushing to her aid, followed by her older sister, causing the figure to run away back into the shadows. After that day, Skylar learned to be more careful about who she trusted. 

As she got older, it became obvious that she did not actually possess the power, which was a relief to both her and her parents. Of course, she was sure that wouldn’t stop Mother Gothel from trying to get her revenge anyway, but it was enough to calm her ever so slightly. Unlike her sister Elyse, Skylar wants to go to the Protection Palace, as she no longer feels safe at home.

While she may have been born a princess, Elyse acted like anything but. At least, most people would say so. Her idea of being a princess meant being able to protect her people. Therefore, from a young age she had trained with the guards of Corona to ensure that she was not only able to protect herself, but her subjects if need be. While her father opposed the idea originally, it was her mother that encouraged her to do so. Elyse had heard all of the stories from her mother growing up with Mother Gothel. The idea that someone could have broken into Corona in general was terrifying, but to think that they had stolen the princess and got away with it, well, that was all the more reason she needed to know self defense.

It wasn’t her idea to go to the Protection Palace. If it were up to her, she would be spending more time training at home to be there for her people. However, her father insisted after the family had a scare regarding her younger sister. Elyse wasn’t fond of the idea, as she saw it as running away when things got tough. However, seeing as she had no power to argue, she reluctantly went under her parents’ orders. She plans to continue training with the guards at the palace while there, and hopes that if the Gothel children do show up, she’ll be prepared to handle them herself.

Mel has been a knight since she was about seventeen years old, they usually don’t let people enter that young but Mel had no where else to go after her aunt who she had been living with at the time was killed by a monster that she still doesn’t know much about. Mel was a fast learner and was determined to be the best Knight that they had but when she was in her early twenties she went on a mission with a small team and they were attacked, Mel was the only survivor and suffers from PTSD from the experience, she won’t talk about it and has been banned from the field ever since so she sticks to helping the assault agents train in the gym by being a personal trainer of sorts. Mel also has sort of made herself in charge of helping the trainees relax often she will recruit some of them for baseball games or friendly soccer matches out on the grounds, it keeps them active helps them relax and everyone deserves some fun once in a while right? Mel can also often be found in the kitchens sort of instructing the cook on what foods are best for the agents to keep them healthy and on their toes for missions or training that day.

 Lia is a witch who is good at what she does and loves every moment of it, Lia is also another who has sold her soul to Cole he got her out of a sticky situation when the knights of voice attacked her coven a few years ago over some snot nosed brat that they had kidnapped, she’s also the witch who sealed Annalise in the graveyard. Lia opened a Casino with some funds she got through some less than legal means so when Cole needed a cover, she hired him. Lia doesn’t mind Cole to much although she does think he’s annoying and tends to over think some things. Lia loves her work and loves the little world that seems separate from the rest of seacoast city, she just hopes it stays that way and that Cole’s war isn’t going to interfere with the life she has built if she didn’t owe Cole her soul she wouldn’t be involved at all after all it’s their war so it’s their problem right? Why involve the rest of the world?

 Mira is a siren who has lived in Seacoast city for a long time, she has definitely been the cause of quite a few of the drownings that have happened there is a reason there is an urban legend about the crystal caves being haunted. Mira is the spirit of legend except she is only a siren she has lured people into her caves and drowned them there, but she is doing better at being a better person, Mira had a run in a few years ago where she tried to drown a demon who instead fought back, and Mira was miraculously rescued by an angel. Mira knew she owed this angel her life and promised that when the war came, she would be on their side and that she would do better not to drown as many people. Instead she has turned a bit of a new leaf and has found herself rescuing more people than drowning them, she’s also been teaching some swim and surf classes of the beach though with some of her more obnoxious students she has found it’s been a little difficult to resist.
