Alexa, or Honey Lemon as she is known by friends, is a bundle of energy and joy. She is frequently at the centre of big events, taking pictures and posting them to social media. She has a passion for fashion and hard work but she oddly enough never draws attention to herself for it or at least, she doesn’t mean to. Honey grew up in a family where she was taught that you worked hard and celebrated everyone’s accomplishments, not just your own. In many ways, the field she is most interested in is an uphill climb, being both female interested in a highly scientific field of magic and proving the necessity of such magic in a very anti-nomaj society but she believes very earnestly that if she thinks positive she can achieve her goals.
Honey used to be pretty self conscious about her height, well, she still is but she’s gotten a lot better about it. She’s very tall and loves wearing heels, making her usually around six foot two inches. Usually she intimidates people but sometimes, she inspires jealousy. Ever since she first arrived at Ilvermorny when she was thirteen, she’s been bullied, occasionally she’d be tripped in the hall and sometimes her things would end up in a school fountain but nothing that was life ruining by her reckoning. Lately though, as her work’s been progressing, it’s gotten worse. Fewer and fewer people bother talking to her. She’s been isolated and lonely and been the victim of attempted memory wiping, the worst though, was when an unknown witch or wizard used the imperious curse on her. The event had been traumatizing but she’s been determined not to let it show. Part of her wants to figure out who’s been doing this but more than anything she doesn’t want to be distracted from the work she’s sacrificed so much to do.
