If you ever feel inclined, I would love to see how you draw my Torbernite. :]
I saw that you were trying to figure out a Homeworld form and I thought it would be very funny if I drew her like this instead

Dunno if I sent you something and forgot, sorry if I did but I would love to see what you'd do with my aquamarine <3 (main rebel form + homeworld outfit for comparison. either works! :])
He's an aquamarine morganite mix, something that sometimes occurs in nature! A bi-color bigender bi-gem if you will lmao Alternatively, I generally find bicolor gems of the same type (beryls, corundums, tourmalines, etc.?) super interesting, which is sadly not explored much in the show so I'd like to see if you have done any of those before!
Its possible that my brain forgot to read the morganite part and drew him as an aquamarine. I wouldn't mind trying to add a bit of morganite in there tho! In a "natural fusion" way where they look like a single gem. I hope that made sense.
He was super fun tbh, I planned on keeping the rebel's colors but that felt like drawing him naked. I hope you don't mind the changes. Im pretty curious about the whole rebel deal tho :0
I think I made bi color gems before. I they look neat in real life but in gem design I just. Split the color of the gem and I dont think I make them look that interesting. I appreciate the interest tho!
Edit:
Ended up doing the more morganite-aquamarine body type. Too good not to draw
i am very sick at the moment so the lineart is drawn with mouse haha but I wanted to show my tear ive been working on!!! His name is Sea Angel Tear (he/they) and he is defective! I have no idea for backstory etc yet but I'm happy I finally got his design out there. :D
Let me know what you think if you'd like! <3
I love him so much that I drew him! I hope it's okay if I made some small changes (I don't mean to disrespect you). I usually answer asks in order but I just had to do some fanart, he looks so creative. I hope you get better soon! ^^
Oh here's also the base I did for him since the body type is somewhere in the middle, I thought it could help.
absolutely adore your chameleon diamond by the way. her design is just... SO GOOD
Thank you! I honestly have no idea of what to do with them unfortunately. I may toss them away once I do the purge.2 of designs I'm more attached to.
Also sorry did this ask glitch why are tags not showing why did this curse me
I really like your gem species pages a lot, and as someone who is thinking about making their own, is there any advice you can give for making one? Thought process, how to format it all, what to include at all costs, etc. etc. :D
Oh shit i um. Be patient? I usually use the SU wiki as a reference of how should i word and describe things. I still dont fully know how to do things, im messing around and finding out.
I change/delete what i think its not important. Sodalites. History? Its an species, im chaguing it to role. I ate the story. My must include are role, rank, size, abilities and gem cut. Gem with no role? Gem with no purpose, unfinished. That kind of logic, you know?
Corrupted form is like a fun bonus that i leave abandoned in the corner. So is the voice actor but thats either really annoying to figure out or really fun. You can make your oc be voiced by anyone and thats hilarious.
Sometimes I add bases as a "how would this gem look if it was skinny/fat/overcooked" because I think it adds depth but sometimes im too lazy to sketch it 😔
I think its important to keep the writting as neutral as possible and thats probably what i keep in mind the most. Not "professional" just "good enough" for my brain to be satisfied haha
Good luck! I love seeing others gem species :0
