Bus transfer
Optimist
Market St by Franklin in San Francisco, Ca __ For those of you who don’t take the SF Muni they are the inspiration for this mural. If you pay in cash the transfer is evidence you paid and entitles the holder to ride in any direction on any bus until the expiration hour at where the paper is cut off. __ Optimist has cleverly used these to show the birth dates for people of notoriety, artists, musicians, politicians who have connections with the City. To name a few you should know if you are a longtime or a new bee : Harvey Milk, Jack London, Robin Williams, Maya Angelou, Jim Jones, Carol Doda, Ansel Adams, O J Simpson … And currently with us and active on the streets Crayone!!! __ See other art by this hometown artist https://www.streetartsf.com/tag/optimist/

Downtown Oakland, Ca.
Optimist is a writer with a mean tag who is also into stickers. This sticker harkens a mural he recently painted for Trick Dog. One of his most memorable stickers lately was Caution Optimist Morgan that became a spray painted mural in more than one location in San Francisco.
. Maybe someone can tell us why Tim the Optimist also goes by Optimistuey. . He has had art shows at various galleries including White Walls and 1AM SF and Le Qui Vive, the predecessor of Athen B Gallery. His gallery art is very different from the street. . Optimist
Treat @ 19th St in San Francisco, Ca
This is a few blocks away from Trick Dog Bar that organized 14 murals in SF that culminated in a book with special drinks concocted and named for each artist. Book profits for non-profits. Optimist has one awesome hand-style beginning with a BIG O. He also creates art that can be found in some local galleries now and then.
