Lilo was wracked with guilt. She felt awful. She couldn't believe she'd really hired someone to kill her target during all the craziness of the past couple weeks. At least it had worked - her life had been spared. She hadn't died. "I know but don't you understand? I'm not a good girl anymore. I hired a hit man! Like some bad movie! That's awful!"

She wasn’t entirely sure at what point in her commute she’d become a pillow, but considering how absolutely out the girl was, Sarah could at least assume she was a comfortable one. She really did hate to have to wake her, but as endearing as this was, she’d hate for either of them to miss their stop. Rumble, shock wave from the blast his ship’s shield absorbed as he raced through the dark emptiness. Hiss, click of his tongue. He was faster than this but he didn’t want to force Katt’s ship to force more speed when it was already sparking. If it died, they would both be fucked.
This was not good, and Falco did not want to make enemies with this gang. An apology? No, maybe a bargain if they could get away… But as another laser blast decreased his shields to 5%, he knew there would be none.
“Keep flying, Katt! I’ll deal with this!” He heard her voice in return, but his mind didn’t register her words. There was no point, and she knew better than to follow.
With a sharp u-turn and an annoyed grin, the avian sped towards their chaser without hesitation.

She was a little caught off guard by the offered hand at first. After all, it was a bit of a rarity for Sarah to be out, much less expect to be noticed as she hunkered down in her usual booth. However, she also wasn’t in the habit of being rude, so once she caught on, she smiled up and took his hand. “It’s very kind of you to offer,” she said, “Hopefully I’m not too rusty.”
