So fucking wish corrective lense glasses weren't fucking expensive in the US. Corrective lenses are in every sense a disability aid. Vision insurance covers an exam and a set allowance amount for lenses each year, but gives a set amount for frames every 2 yrs.
That makes no fucking sense! You need frames????????? Like if my glasses frames were to break right now, I might not have the extra funds to get new frames if it's not the allowed timeframe (pun intended 😎) to be covered.
Like I have a very strong prescription that I can't have them in a few hours same day. I have to wait a week *at least* to pick them up. This means I effectively can't work, drive, cook, anything at all really.
