Perne isn't hairy just cause he'd be too hot otherwise and it'll make it too hard to dislike him...

That's why I decided to make him extra hairy!

Here's the concept art for my Shadows!Perne design since I need to work on something else right now...

The black streaks on his Light form's arms and legs are supposed to be human body hair, that's just how I like to draw human body hair. They're not shadows or cuts. ^ ^; So, yeah, he's very hairy even in Light form.

Okay, maybe I made him a tiny bit too hairy. But, come on... owo;; (I'm just jesting. Haha... but it's true that I'd like Perne to be hairier. He just seems like that type of guy.)

He was supposed to be a raccoon × cat hybrid cause I wanted to make him a raccoon. However, I made Lifis a rat, so I began thinking Perne being a cat would be more thematic. I was hesitating so badly and so much I just messed around and mixed the two when I drew him for the first time. And, a funny myth came to my rescue; I read that there is a myth that Maine Coon where some sort of raccoon × cat hybrid and that was why it was named Maine COON, for racCOON. So... He's a Maine Coon!
